Adventmarkt im oberen Kurpark
The centre point of the Christmas village is the larger-than-life-sized, hand-carved wooden nativity scene under the powerful, old giant sequoia tree. Decorated Advent stands ring the nativity scene selling lovingly selected handwork, crafts and various preserves from the region, inviting one to leisurely stroll. The Bad Gleichenberg Advent Market, located in the spa park, has become more than just an insider tip on Christmas markets with its high-quality handicrafts. There are cosy horse-drawn carriages through the park highlighted by local trumpeters and family music.
